Gate Instructions

Instructions for securing the gate at the Elm Hill Flying Field Follow the five simple steps oulined below to secure the chain across the road to the Elm Hill Flying Field. All DRCC members have been given the gate combination. If you are not a member of DRCC, you can still fly there but must have an AMA number on file with the DRCC to gain access to, and fly at, the Elmhill field. This is the land owners requirement regardless of any past agreements. Click HERE to send an e-mail request for access to the flying field. All flyers are required to follow the AMA Rules and the Field Rules that are published at the field.

Raise the chain to chest height in order to be able to hook the empty boomer hook to the threaded chain link.	Boomer hooked up	Tension the chain by pulling the boomer tight

Scramble the lock combination and insert the hasp through the last chain link and the link just next to the green cable tie. A little effort may be required here. Press hasp to engage lock.	Gate Secured!
